Cooper Tires “Take the Money & Ride”

This post brought to you by Cooper Tire. All opinions are 100% mine.

I’m your typical middle of the road guy.  There is nothing that screams excitement about how I live.  I’m middle age, middle class and live in the Midwest.  The word “ordinary” comes to mind and that’s just how I like it.  There are two things that that do excite me though and that’s saving money and the safety of my family.  So when I found out about the Cooper Tires Take the Money & Ride campaign ( I decided to do some further research.  Here is what I found out.  Cooper manufactures a large selection of tires that appeal to just about everyone.  I also found out that by purchasing a set I would receive a Visa Pre-Paid reward!  Now I was starting to get a little excited but I still had to do some further digging.  I began by:

Going to

This lead me to the main page and I first found a Cooper Tire dealer also at the top of the banner is where you can input the year, make and model of the vehicle we own.  And of course I punched in my wife’s vehicle information because I’m a good husband.  This gave me three selections and I got to compare them.  They also include the performance features fit what I was looking for. I then cross checked it with the Visa Pre Paid reward tires and no kidding I qualified for the $80.

It’s real easy to do and all you need is your receipt from the Cooper Tire dealer establishing that you just didn’t throw on some knock off tires.  You mail it in along with your information and within 6 to 8 weeks your Visa Pre-Paid card is in the mail box.

Ensured I took care of them

On the Cooper Tire site is a drop down menu labeled Tire Safety so I checked it out and here is what I found.

  • Take the time to inspect them; make sure they are properly inflated and the alignment is good you’re vehicle.  If you live in the Midwest then you understand the wear and tear the weather and roads can have on your tires.  Without well maintained tires, you’re not going anywhere.
  • Good Driving Habits:  This might seem obvious but in today’s busy world driving safely seems secondary to just getting to your destination.  Be aware of obstructions and other drivers.

Tires are not the first thing I think of when I wake up in the morning.  I don’t want to think about tires.  By choosing Cooper Tire I feel confident that I won’t have to worry at all.  I can also cash in on the Visa Pre-Paid credit card and by myself something nice like a fishing pole or take my wife out to the movies.  In my opinion everyone wins.
