Recently, we were alerted to a neat movement going on next week, called Giving Tuesday from our friend Kevin at SpringCoin.com. Kevin volunteers and helps with an online community called Givology.com – which seems to work much like Kickstarter.com: folks post about causes and projects near to their heart and seek others to join them via support and financial gifts. It's a great website and lots of people around the world are being helped.
We wanted to jump on board with Giving Tuesday and also support Givology. As I stated before, the site is a place where people all over the world can support students who come from difficult backgrounds (often third-world countries) and fund projects to help those less advantaged. Givology makes it really easy to give and get involved.
Kevin provided TTG with $25 funds that we could give to a project of our choosing. We decided upon supporting a 14-year old student from Benin who is under-funded and who lost his father in 2009. It's amazing what a small amount of money (when compared to what average American's make) can do for a person in a developing part of the world.
Givology is also matching their initial $25 gift – and is giving one TTG reader the opportunity to win a chance at giving $25 to a student or project of their choosing. All you need to do to enter is fill in the form below. We'll be picking a winner on 11/27.
We have selected a winner! Congratulations to Dinah!

thanks for this giveaway..our church can use these funds to help with the food bank for families in our community
Thanks for entering Tracy. Unfortunately – the funds need to be used on projects that are already on Givology.com.
