With the age of the internet, there is no limit to the amount of things a person can learn. Just by tapping in a few key words, you can have an answer to any (most any) question your heart desires. It’s truly remarkable.
I love to learn about different things, but am not so keen about sitting in a classroom going at the teachers pace. The beauty of the internet is that there is all the education you could possibly want, at your own pace. Plus, it’s free!
I’ve scoured a few websites – and there is really none more efficient than YouTube. They have a channel called, YouTube EDU where they host thousands of videos by major universities with speakers on all sorts of topics.
If you’re looking for more, check out Open Culture.com. They’ll point you to an endless supply of educational videos and audio on topics ranging from language learning to math courses. All free.
My other recommendation is downloading podcasts off iTunes. Most of us have a device of some sort which can play MP3 files. You can download these any time and listen to them whenever you have a moment.
