Hey all – just wanted to let you know that we are excited to be starting a new endeavor here at TTG – a once-a-month charitable donation from the proceeds of our monthly income. AND, we’d love it if you could help us select a worthy charitable organization out there.

At the end of each month – we’ll choose one charity from your suggestions (and ours :) ) and we’ll cut ‘em a check. Easy, breezy.

We love to give and feel we have been blessed to be able to write to gracious readers like yourself.

Please leave us a comment of a charity that you support or one you feel could use some extra funds. Thanks in advance.

And.. our Amazon Gift Card winner is:

Petra! We’ll be getting a hold of you shortly with your prize!

Thanks to all who submitted their name in the hat. We had a good turnout of entries. We also appreciate that some of you shared your “biggest financial challenges”. We may use some to write future posts which we hope will prove valuable.

Thanks!

-TTG

Looking for a great charity eh? Check out http://forgottenvoices.org – their focused on helping kids orphaned by AIDS through sustainable partnerships in southern Africa. I heartily recommend them!

They can use the funds to help provide scholarships to women who would receive personal job search assistance and support. They are great and have helped many women make transitions in their lives. Whether it’s a career change, transitioning away from public assistance towards independence, or helping women transition to a new phase of life away from domestic violence- they do it all.

Very cool and generous. My mom gives annually to Briar Cliff. We give to our sons’ school and I think most educational organizations can use donations. Others we give to is our church and local library.
